Professional Background

Ms Palesa Mosikatsana is a Junior Lecturer in Food and Beverage Studies I and II, as well as Events Management I.

She obtained a BTech in Hospitality Management from the Central University of Technology, Free State, where she received the third-place Best BTech Student award.

Her hospitality industry experience includes working as a Room Attendant, Receptionist and Reservations Agent between 2005 and 2008 at the President Hotel Bloemfontein and Protea Hotel Bloemfontein Central. In 2008, she was promoted to Banqueting and Events Coordinator at Protea Hotel Bloemfontein Central.

From 2010, she worked independently as an Events Coordinator, providing services to organisations including Eskom, SADTU, the Department of Health in Pretoria and CHOC House, as well as private clients.

She subsequently entered academia and is currently completing a master's degree.
