Grethé Muller lectures in Culinary studies theory (First and Senior years); Hospitality Health & Safety; Event management, Hospitality Media and Service Excellence. She obtained her Diploma and B Tech degree in Hospitality Management and Post School Education degree at the Central University of Technology and has completed a web-based master’s degree in Problem Based Learning at Aalborg University, Denmark. She taught Consumer Studies for 5 years at St Michael’s School for Girls in Bloemfontein before joining CUT. Grethé has been with the Hotel School since October 2005. She was Acting HOD of the Hotel School from May 2011 – December 2012 and again from July – December 2017. Grethé has presented a paper at an International Symposium in Aalborg, Denmark as well as nationally. She is also a co-writer for a Consumer Studies textbook.
