Professional Background

Ms Kanelo Sethathi obtained a National Diploma in Hospitality Management from Walter Sisulu University in 2020. She continued her studies at the Central University of Technology, Free State, where she completed an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management in 2021 and received third place among Advanced Diploma students.

She subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management and is currently studying towards a Master of Philosophy in Hospitality Management.

In 2022, she served as a Supplemental Instructor for Hospitality Financial Management. She also completed her work-integrated learning at StayEasy Emalahleni in Mpumalanga.

Her international hospitality experience includes participation in a Food and Beverage programme in the United States of America at The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples, Florida.

She currently serves as a Lecturer Assistant for Accommodation Management at CUT, supporting both theoretical and practical teaching.
