Professional Background

Dr Lucien Lezar is an executive support professional with extensive experience in strategic and operational management, particularly within higher education. His career has been shaped by strong planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills, underpinned by a commitment to ethical practice, collaboration, and academic excellence.

Currently, he serves as the Departmental Manager for Business Support Studies (BSS) at the Central University of Technology (CUT), Welkom Campus, where he oversees operational management, budget monitoring, workload planning, staff performance, recruitment, and policy compliance. Since 2017, he has also contributed as a BSS lecturer, teaching Project and Applied Management modules. Dr Lezar is actively involved in research, with publications in reputable journals and presentations at international conferences focusing on cultural intelligence, wellbeing, organisational culture, diversity management, and entrepreneurship.
