Professional Background

Mr Tseke Motimele is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the Central University of Technology (CUT). Admitted to SAICA in 2019, he brings five years of external audit experience in financial services, having worked at KPMG Johannesburg and Ernst & Young Dublin.

His professional specialisation encompasses insurance and reinsurance, with further extensive experience in banking, mining, manufacturing, retirement funds, and the public sector. At CUT, he lectures Financial Accounting II to IV, and he also serves as the Financial Accounting III moderator at Sol Plaatje University. He seamlessly integrates his deep industry expertise into his academic practice, preparing students for the rigorous demands of the accounting profession.
