Professional Background

Mrs Cecilia Sejake is the Deputy Director of International Student Support Services within the Centre for Global Engagement at the Central University of Technology (CUT), bringing over 30 years of experience in South African higher education. She oversees international student support, admissions, academic administration, and compliance with immigration and higher education regulations.

She works closely with key stakeholders, including the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), South African Missions, Universities South Africa (USAf), and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), to advance internationalisation initiatives. Mrs Sejake is an active member of the International Education Association of South Africa (IEASA) and remains deeply committed to advancing international education and student success.
