| PORTFOLIO | Sally Joubert is employed at the Central University of Technology (CUT) as the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator and Industry Liaison. In this role, she is responsible for placing students in industry for their practical training and strengthening collaboration between CUT and employers. Her work reflects her passion for education, innovation, and creating meaningful partnerships that prepare students for the world of work. She also coordinates the Tshireletso Ka Thuto food safety programme, which aims to empower informal food vendors through training and awareness. In addition, Sally serves part-time as the Player Development Manager for the Toyota Cheetahs rugby team, where she supports players with off-field personal and career development. Sally holds a Master’s degree from the University of the Free State (UFS), where she also completed her undergraduate and honours degrees. In 2020, she completed a Coaching for Development course through the University of Cape Town. She is a member of the Free State Committee for the South African Board of People Practices and was the proud winner of the CUT Idea Gym Challenge for staff, with her business concept iLink, which is aimed at bridging gaps in access to opportunity and support. Sally is passionate about education, industrial development, networking, and discovering innovative ways to manage people and processes. |
