Professional Background

Colette Maasdorp holds an MA in Higher Education Studies from the University of the Free State, obtained in 2008. Her qualifications from the Central University of Technology, Free State include a National Diploma in Commercial Administration, a BTech in Office Management and Technology, and an MTech in Office Management and Technology.

Her association with CUT began in 1995 as a Student Assistant in Secretarial Studies, followed by a Lecturer Assistant position in 1996. From 1997 to 2000, she served as Secretary to the Head of Department, while also working as a Part-Time Lecturer from 1998 to 2000.

Since January 2001, she has served as a Lecturer in Office Management and Technology within Management Sciences. She has also served as Coordinator for Office Management and Technology since 2018.
