| PORTFOLIO | Gregory Alexander holds the position of professor in the Department of Post Graduate Studies in Education at the Central University of Technology. With a Ph.D. in Psychology of Education and relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management and Value-Based Leadership. Having matriculated from Steenberg high school in Cape Town, Gregory completed his teacher training at the University of the Western Cape. He started his career as a teacher in the Northern Cape province, where he also served as a subject advisor for Geography. Gregory’s research interests are in the areas of Critical Multicultural Education, Diverse Learning Environments, Deracialised Schooling, Inclusive Education and Service-Learning. He participated in various, regional, national, and international research projects and previously held research grants with the National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa. Currently, He has published numerous papers and facilitated workshops and seminars, notably in Southeast Asian countries. He also supervises students at Honours, Masters and Doctoral level.
