PORTFOLIO
Mr Qondakele Sompondo is an accomplished executive with significant achievements in various leadership roles. Mr Sompondo served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of United Through Sport, a sport-for-development charity based in Gqeberha, with offices in the UK and the US. There, he oversaw the organisation's overall strategy and fundraising initiatives.
Prior to that, he held various senior management roles in higher education at Sol Plaatje University and Rhodes University where he led efforts to position the institution and mobilise resources from individuals, corporates, trusts, and foundations.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Rhodes University Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advancement and Resource Mobilisation from Rhodes University Business School, and a BA Honours in Corporate Communication from Nelson Mandela University.
