Professional Background

Dr Lesiba George Mollo is a Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Built Environment at the Central University of Technology, Free State.

He obtained his PhD in Construction Management from Nelson Mandela University in 2021. His doctoral research focused on reducing human failures in construction through a mixed-methods Training-Within-Industry (TWI) study.

He also obtained an MTech in Quantity Surveying cum laude from Nelson Mandela University in 2017 and has industry experience working on a part-time basis with different construction organisations.

His research interests include construction health and safety, construction management and engineering, building energy management, and wearable technologies for health monitoring in construction.
