CUT, in collaboration with loveLife, Free State Department of Health, CUT Wellness Centre, South African National Blood Services (SABS), me 1st.co.za and Pregnancy Crisis Centre of Hope are participating in the CUT Health Week programme from 27 February to 03 March 2023 to promote a positive lifestyle change among employees and students.

CUT Health Week is an essential wellness programme to raise health awareness and encourage basic health screening to promote healthy behaviours and general wellbeing amongst the CUT community. 1st year Public Management student, Thandolwethu Mshweshwe, said it is exciting to have easy access to such services at your doorstep, and as a blood donor, she decided to visit the SABS stall to donate blood and help those in need. “Most people are reluctant to visit clinics and hospitals for random wellness check-ups, but having access to these services at your doorstep, there is no excuse,” she said.
