There are two types of banking at Central University of Technology, Free State: Student Banking and Business Banking.

The National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) are assessments for first-year applicants into Higher Education Institutions in South Africa and it is compulsory for all. 

Selection tests, you will be notified by CUT that you have to write the test.

CUT offers programmes in many fields. Most of the programmes require class attendance as our programmes have a practical compontent. Should it be offered online, the programme page will indicate the option.

Sport is an important part of CUT's community wellbeing. Though there are selected sports offered on the campuses, students are encouraged to discuss options with the sports team.

International students are supported and guided by the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) in all matters.

Prospective postgraduate students are encouraged to contact the facultymember they are going to partner with as a supervisor, or alternatively the relevant faculty Assistant Dean for guidance.
Thereafter, the Graduate School provides collective support to supervisors and postgraduate students to grow their research capacities.

The class and assessment timetable, marks and past exam papers are available on the Student Portal

Semester 1 students will be auto promoted to Semester 2 (condition: same programme and qualification).

Yes, if you have skipped a semester or a year, you must apply to continue. Contact your faculty for more information.

Be sure to complete the issuing of a certificate/diploma/degree form for your faculty. Provide an off-campus e-mail address on the form for your Graduation communication. The Student Portal requires you to login. The information available on the portal includes Class and Assessment Timetables, Marks, Past exam papers, Financial Statement and the Self Service platform: e-forms | Intelli Card | Password Management.
