20-Year Legacy: CUT alumni and employee becomes part of the team shaping CUT into a premier university of technology during its milestone anniversary

Ms. Jolene Stanfley, a devoted employee at CUT for 20 years, reflects on her career journey and experience from entry-level to her current position as Data Liaison for Legal/Agreement Management Information Systems.

This year holds special significance for the Central University of Technology (CUT) as it celebrates two decades as a flourishing university of technology. It's a momentous occasion not just for the institution but also for some of its dedicated staff members whose journeys with CUT mirror its growth trajectory. One such individual is Jolene Stanfley, a shining example of CUT's alumni success story.

Jolene's remarkable CUT experience began 20 years ago, in the very first year CUT transitioned into a university of technology. She embarked on her academic journey at CUT, pursuing a National Diploma, followed by a Bachelor of Technology degree. Today, she stands tall not just as a proud alumnus, but also as a dedicated employee celebrating ten years of service to the institution. Remarkably, her academic quest continues as she pursues her Master's degree, solidifying a 20-year bond with CUT.

Jolene's dedication to CUT extends far beyond her academic pursuits. She envisions a long-lasting future with the university, driven by a desire to embrace the plethora of opportunities CUT offers and the chance to positively impact the lives of students. Working for CUT isn't just a job for her; it's a milestone on her path to becoming an integral part of the team and shaping CUT into the premier university of technology.

"Being part of CUT during this celebratory year is incredibly special," says Jolene. "The last two decades have been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and immense satisfaction. Witnessing CUT evolve and flourish fills me with pride. I'm excited to see what the future holds and contribute further to CUT's legacy of excellence."

Jolene's story is a testament to the transformative power of education and the enduring spirit of the CUT community. As CUT celebrates its 20th anniversary, her journey inspires students, alumni, and staff alike. It underscores the potential for a deep and meaningful connection between an individual and the institution, fostering not just academic success but also a lifelong commitment to shaping the future.
