DESCRIPTION:The CUT is proud to host the second annual international teach
 ing week from 24-28 August 2026. The teaching week will be co-hosted by t
 he Faculty of Health and Environmental Health and the Faculty of Engineer
 ing Built Environment and Information Technology.&nbsp\;Institutions of h
 igher learning are considered an extension of society and therefore not i
 mmune to global disruptions in technology that continue to reshape the wo
 rld of work. These disruptions require responsiveness from universities. 
 Therefore\, university pedagogy should evolve\, and academics should inno
 vate to respond to the changing demands globally. In response to these gl
 obal disruptions\, universities have adopted entrepreneurship as one of t
 he attributes graduates should possess. In this way teaching will create 
 a space for collaboration between academics from the global South and Nor
 th (across disciplines) as well as industry partners. The instructional w
 eek will be framed around the theme of\, &ldquo\;Teaching for Impact: emb
 edding entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation in Higher Education&rd
 quo\; focusing on the following sub-themes:1. Teaching Agro-Entrepreneurs
 hip for food security and climate-resilient urban systems.2. Entrepreneur
 ial teaching for health innovation and sustainable wellness solutions.3. 
 Embedding Somatology and wellness entrepreneurship in teaching for sustai
 nable livelihoods.4. Innovating cities and infrastructure: entrepreneuria
 l teaching in Engineering\, IT\, and the Built Environment.5. Creative en
 trepreneurship for social impact: teaching design\, communication\, and c
 ultural innovation.6. Teaching for social innovation: entrepreneurial and
  sustainable perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities.The Int
 ernational Teaching Week is intended to achieve the following outcomes:Do
 cumented\, Impact-Focused Knowledge ExchangeEvidence-based documentation 
 of innovative teaching practices\, co-teaching models\, and curriculum in
 terventions that embed entrepreneurship and sustainability within discipl
 ine-specific contexts.Strengthened and Strategically Aligned Internationa
 l PartnershipsConsolidation of existing and establishment of new internat
 ional partnerships focused on collaborative teaching\, entrepreneurial ed
 ucation\, and sustainable innovation aligned with institutional and globa
 l priorities.Identification of Joint Research and Scholarship AgendasClea
 rly articulated joint research interests and Scholarship of Teaching and 
 Learning (SoTL) themes centred on entrepreneurship education\, sustainabl
 e development\, and interdisciplinary innovation.Expanded Participation i
 n International and Virtual Mobility InitiativesIncreased academic and st
 udent engagement in international programmes such as Collaborative Online
  International Learning (COIL)\, virtual exchanges\, and blended internat
