Message to CUT students

CUT students, are requested to make use of the extended period to submit lease agreement forms by ensuring that they have the correct lease agreement documentation before the 31st of May 2022.

Students should be aware that there will be no further extension to the opportunity given as stated above.

Non-submission of lease agreement documentation will automatically make an individual student receive the transport allowance in terms of the DHET/NSFAS guidelines.

Message to landlords

Landlords are urged to ensure that they provide required lease agreement documentation (truthful and correct) the latest before the 31st of May 2022.

Landlords must ensure that overhead expenses are included in the rental amount (rent + water + electricity + Wi-Fi) in line with DHET/NSFAS Guidelines.

Please be informed that site visits will be conducted for property and documents verification.

Landlords will be paid directly to their bank account.

NB: Last day for submission of all lease documentation is the 31st of May 2022.
