The School of Health Technology focuses on health oriented programs where learners receive quality academic background to prepare them for a profession in the field of Health Sciences.

All the activities in the School underlie our vision, mission and core values.

Mission

As a responsive academic School of Health Technology we exists to:

·           facilitate dedicated and career-focused expertise to quality learners in promoting academic excellence in health sciences;

·           provide knowledge and skills, and develop appropriate attitudes in specialized fields at the forefront to technology in human health;

·           undertake research that addresses regional, national and international issues to equal global standards;

·           address the needs of the community to ensure uplifting through education, research and skills development, so as to improve quality of life; and

·           establish and maintain collaboration with stakeholders in health sciences.

The School of Health Technology offers qualifications ranging from certificates up to Doctoral level in the following programmes: Radiography, Biomedical Technology, Clinical Technology, Somatology, Dental Assisting, and Emergency Medical Care.
