WHAT ARE MY CAREER OPPORTUNITIES?

Analyst: System Developer, Application Designer, Business Analyst, Management Information Analyst, System Analyst.

Programming: Application Developer, Software Developer, Internet Developer.

Database: Business Database Analyst, Data Administrator, Database Administrator.

Project Manager: Information Systems Project Leader.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION?

A candidate for a degree, diploma or certificate must score at least 27 or more points on the CUT scoring scale in the Grade 12 examination in July, or a subsequent examination.  Candidates, who fail to score 27 and higher, can contact the department to write an aptitude test.  Candidates, who are allowed to write the aptitude test, have a score between 24 and 26.

WHAT ARE THE ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION PROCEDURES?

Enrolment for the Department of Information Technology will be as follows:

1st Years and Senior student’s students enroll from Monday, 20st January 2014 till 31st January 2014.

  • 1st Years enroll in BHP219.  Students will get their Registration Forms, Booklists, Orientation Program and Test Time Table in BHP219.
  • Seniors Enrole in BHP200.
  • B Tech. students will get their Registration Forms, Time Tables and Booklists in BHP200 and take the Registration Form to  BHP214 for signature.
