Additional Admission Requirements

For candidates who matriculated in 2007 or before:

National Diploma: Somatology or equivalent qualification, with an average of 60% on the theory component.

Or

National Diploma: Somatology or equivalent qualification. With an average below 60% on the theory component plus additional two (2) years Industry experience.

For candidates who completed the NSC in 2008 and thereafter:

National Diploma: Somatology, or equivalent qualification, with the appropriate instructional offerings. With an average of 60% on the theory component.

Or

National Diploma: Somatology or equivalent qualification, with an average below 60% on the theory component plus additional Two (2) years Industry experience.

Career Opportunities

In addition to the career opportunities of a Diploma holder, the B Tech graduate will possess entrepreneurial skills to open or manage their own business in the industry and work in conjunction with Medical Practitioners.

Remarks

The fourth academic year can be presented on a full-time basis over a period of one year or on a part-time basis over a minimum period of two years.
